The Optotec MAX4 Basic is a compact, single-ended, dome-type closure designed for efficient fibre management in FTTX network deployments and other outside plant applications. It is compatible with micro-sheath, ribbon (IBR), and dielectric cables, accommodating a variety of common cable diameters. Featuring a secure quad-lock clamp-gasket system, the MAX4 Basic ensures a reliable seal between the base and dome, providing excellent environmental protection. It includes one oval entry port for looped (uncut) cable and four round ports for drop cable entry/exit, all designed for use with cold application kits to eliminate the need for flames. Specifically, the MAX4 Basic supports up to 2 SAMR splice tray modules, enabling up to 144 fibre splices. It is equipped with a pressure test valve and includes a wall/pit mounting bracket for versatile installation options.
